Weird People, Weird Weather

There had been a bunch of idiots driving around an throwing eggs at pedestrians in Sheffield. Encountered them once somewhere during winter but no injuries were done as the egg just bounced off a friend's jacket and landed somewhere else. Unfortunately another friend was victimised few days ago. Either it was meant to be fun or it an racism act, we've got no idea. Got the number plate of the car. Whatever it is, hope they crash and die. It wasn't funny at all. The Yorkshire police is taking action and these guys should be in trouble soon.

Don't mess with us Malaysians, we'll skin you and eat you in 10 different dishes!

Another thing, the only emergency unit in the whole of Sheffield during the night is located at the Northern General Hospital. The Royal Hallamshire Hospital nearby apparently only operates from 7.00am-7.00pm. The emergency units is located at some end of the hospital and does not have a doctor standing by during the night. Meaning if you get stab in Sheffield during midnight, you're supposed to travel 4-5miles to the General Hospital. Then, you'll need to climb up the dodgy stairs to get to the Accident and Emergency Unit. How thoughtful.

Getting stabbed: 5 mins
Getting to the hospital: 15 mins
Looking for the Emergency Unit until some guy from 10 stories above in the hospital to question and give directions: 20 mins
Waiting for the nurse: 5 mins

And all for the nurse to tell you that they can't do anything. I'd stab myself again to speed up the bleeding..

Saw this while discussing how to get back to the halls from the N.G.H. :

On another note,

it is freaking snowing in Spring! Forecasted with temperature < -1 Celsius. "Black Shirt" aka Soon Hock from york is on his way back to Malaysia for Easter. Snowed when we were heading to the train station and snow flakes are falling as I am typing this..

His flight is being delayed at the moment due to snow on runway. Possibly arriving a day late as the chances of him missing the Dubai transit flight is pretty high as well.

First the railway maintenance on Sundays caused you to take the replacement service buses due to the fact that there are no alternative rails from Sheffield to Manchester Airport, and now the delay. Enjoying your trip so far? Hahah! Anyway, sorry dude for your second failed attempt to get Sheffield United's Scarf. Wake up early next time.

Snow. It hits the ground faster than you can say "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"

P.S. : Stevo won the annual beer race again! We have the smallest bar, but the biggest drinkers.

P.P.S. : 11 PM, Mr BS is still in Manchester Airport, started snowing when the plane was about to depart. Delay and double delay due to weather. How nice. LOL!
