What 320Nm can do.

Angry Chinese lady decides to take a drive in her Chevrolet Captiva after confronting the tow truck driver.. ON TOW.

Lesson of the day:
Vehicles must not be towed with the driving wheels on the ground. Not only it might damage the drive terrain, the tow truck might get towed instead!

Lesson No.2: Just don't mess with Chinese people. =P

Draft, not?

I'm home sick. Believe it or not. Be it even if I'm not far away from heading back.. Its always at the busiest of time when these thoughts comes lingering around in my mind..

One of the rarest pictures ever =/

Happens every time I'm away for a month or two.. Be it even after 2 years. Still the same..

I'm missing my grandma.. :S

To those who knows what's up, don't worry. I've accepted some facts. But sometimes you just can't help it, can you?

Something is amiss.. Maybe its just me..

Lesson learnt

At an event of an accident. Addition(s) is often not the solution..

Lesson one:
When you're making an egg + prawn sandwich filling and used the hole without the sift instead for salt, best plan is to evacuate. Abandon mission. Quarantine that given sector. TAKE THE BLOODY SALTED SECTION OUT!

Instead, the smart guy added more materials (i.e. eggs, shrimps) into his bowl of hypertension causing sandwich fillings.. Now I've got a big bowl of crap to be finished for the next given week..
If it will be able to last that long that is..

Lesson two:
trying to make a meal alone after a damn long "nap" is just an awaiting disaster..

Think I'll add crabsticks tomorrow..

Winter's coming.. Update is here!

Wind's blowing.. lets see, about 16miles per hour? Shaking the windows, the wall creaks a little, an orchestra formed by the wind.. Accompanied by the miserable drizzle.. That would feel like pebbles on your face at that speed. Bold trees, cold nights.. What else describes British weather best?

Understanding a person, is it really enough or does it take more than understanding? Does second chances comes by when one screw it up badly once? Or twice? Probably more.. Something gotta change around here ain't it? Time to work on things, for the better! =)

Right. Enough sentiments.

Updates! Got a car last weekend and went about with the bunch of dudes. Driving brings back the Yuan Hao in the Yuan Hao. Needing to obey the law strictly is the anal bit in driving in the UK, but apart from that, traffic here has a nice smooth flow.. No ridiculus speed limits on the highway. Everyone does about the same speed and NO HIDDEN SPEED CAMERAS!

The AK 47+11 POV

Its a brand new car!

Liking my ride so far? I loved the ride! =D Having a car here makes things much easier. Places accessible.. When you feel like furbishing the place, just head down to Ikea in Leeds, chill with some mofo down there.. When you feel like checking out some place, Nottingham is just right down the island.. Hungry? Kebabs all around the lil town!

Nice ay? Sadly it aint my car =P rented it for 2 days to head down Leeds for some furnitures. Surprised that we got a brand new car that have yet to even complete the run-in period yet! Awesomeness. And yes, as you might had guessed, it was a manual.

Manual transimission = fuel economy + control x fun

Just in case anyone had yet to figure that out..

420km ( I thought we did more than that), about 45liters of petrol. (9.33km/liter for a car that was overloaded 90% of the time)

Approximately 100-115bhp.. Metal + jokers in the car.

Yeah. 15 Nov 2008 and 16 Nov 2008. That weekend was a blast!

In case anyone had been wondering where on earth yours faithul had been these days, life had just been filled with work Work WORK WORK!! Bloody university is just not letting anyone breathe at the moment. Assignments, due dates, the fear of yet touching any tutorials sends chills down my spine.. No wait, that's just the weather..

Just for the sake of it.. One of our random projects.. AND It failed!

Under this load!

Before and after..

Down with bloody cold, sore throat and the usuals.. Don't ask why. I don't know.. Oh, by the way, updates to those who had yet to know, MASSOC presidency is over! Yes... Less stressed me.. No I will probably not shout in your face telling you I'm tensed now. I hope. Else its just your luck.. Or I didn't like you in the first place. Sorry my friend.

Oh, by the way, I've not had that many indian dishes when I was in Malaysia EVER than I am having right now within the duration of like, a month and a half.. Courtesy to our indian counterparts here in Sheffield. Awesome man you guys! Cheers to that!

*stoned* Right.. Enough crap.. *dozing off..*

Night people.

-Signing off-

2 years or 24 months or 730.5 days..

Long Distance Relationship

Most people doubt us. At times we even doubt ourselves..

BUT! We've been through all those and hanged on to each other through thick and thin.. Through ups and downs, through smooth tarmacs, through though dirt roads, through the whining hill tracks, and there were times where we went off-road.. Every bit was worth while..

There were the Stupid times..

The Blur times..

The Happy times..

And so many times where only our background changes in pictures..

Thank you honey..

For believing and forgiving me even though I've done so many stupid mistakes..
For loving me for who I am..
For being there whenever I need someone..
For supporting me even though some of my decisions were wrong..
For the willingness to stay with me though we're such different people..
For the best cheesecake in the world..
For making my world such a wonderful place..
For tolerating my unreasonable temper at times..
For all the wonderful times we squeezed out together..
For all the initial preperations that I usually forget before trips..
For tolerating all the times I had to leave all out of a sudden..
For making me realise the wonders a smile, your smile, is capable of..
For layaning my weird views on certain issues at times..
For asking me to take care while I was sick..
For taking care of yourself when you were sick..
For staying up at times just to spend time together..
For listening to me..
For being so understanding..
For being REALLY understanding because I need you to..
For all the time you sacrificed for me..
For the willingness to be on this road together with me..
For reminding me so many things that I often forget..
For holding this relationship together all the time..
Thank you for for EVERYTHING! So so many things that I could never finish listing them out ..

2 of the sweetest years I'll ever get. More to come?

Definitely.. We believe.. ; )

Slow but proud

You there, Yes, You, in Malaysia. Had you been hearing much about facebook? The "Hottest" online community site currently? Had you notice that every now and then you hear people advertising on facebook, asking you to check out their profile on facebook, facebook this facebook that? Do you realise that facebook was out in 2004, was a craze over in the US, 2 years later, after the fad died off in the US its a big "hu-ha" the U.K. and maybe Ozzie, MAYBE. And now 4 years later, Malaysia? Where every radio DJ will ask you to visit their facebook profile? Where everyone is starting to talk about it like, year 2008?

2008.. If what I've said had yet to make sense to you, yeah, you do belong to the facebook crazy crowd.. Happy facebooking. Facebookers.. =)

Had a thought about stock cars with loud mufflers... Hmm.. Go figure..

Updates!

Right.. Back in the good ol' country. Sitting around, sipping tea at mid night and hanging out in the day light. Wife's still not in running condition, she's down with infections instead.. Moss and spiderwebs, go figure..

Same ol thingy whenever I'm back, no pictures. Too darn lazy as the net is too darn slow.

Great weather. Occasional downpours but all's good. Had a whole of next week locked up with plans. Off to Pangkor!

Malaysia, for those who are overseas, you're missing out on the fun of road constructions here and there. The flyover infront of klang town is down. Some constructions going on there. JAM JAM JAM.

Am starting the internship training program on the 15th of July. So.. Those who are heading waiting for me to bring you to bah kut teh and seafood in klang. Do so FAST!

Other than that.. I'll let the blog be filled with cricket and gecko sounds now.

See ya!

Road Rage

What is your road rage potential?

Take the test and find out here! Roadrage Test

Some of the questions cracked me up though. How could anyone not break the ridiculous speed limits in Malaysia?

Point one out and I'll salute that bugger. Even Singaporeans come over to have a go at their car's potential. What else us?

Anyway, results showed that apparently I'm a
67.5% Safe driver
65% Aggressive
60.5% Courteous
and my road rage potential is 60%

Not that bad considering my bloodline.. =P

Can't wait to drive!! Just over a week now..

PS: Girlfriend, decided where to go yet? = / Promise no road rage. =P

Wasted

Nahhh.. Not induced by binge drinking.. Had been awhile..

But yeah, 1 day wasted.. Sitting around.. Lazing around.. Yeah.. 1 day. 24 hrs, wasted.

Lets hope I don't regret this..

But then again, I probably would.. *sigh*

By the way, those who don't know yet. WHICH I DOUBT.

Petrol is RM2.70 per liter now!
Yeah, just joining the crowd who screams about the 40% hike..

I pledge on my wallet, to drive slow when I'm back in Malaysia.
I pledge on my right foot, to be lighter on the pedal.
I pledge on my other desires, to reduce my petrol consumption.
I pledge on the gearbox, to not trash it as I used to.
I pledge on my steering rack, to stay within minimum motion at all times.
I pledge on my tires, to follow the lanes on the highway.
I pledge on myself, to be a better driver for my community and my country.

My feet will be in for an intensive diet..

How? Is this joining the crowd for once or what? HA!

Aftershock hits Chengdu

China:

An aftershock measured at 6.1 magnitude hit Chengdu just yesterday. Death toll raised to almost 32,500. China estimates casualties would exceed 50,000 people for this earthquake, naming it "the biggest and most destructive" since before the communist revolution in 1949 by Premier Wen.

Officials restricted access to Beichuan, with the worries of the banks collapsing. Thousands who had travelled the distance were prevented from entering the area.

US, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore had deployed rescuers to assist in rescue operations. Fighting against time, rescuers are hoping to bring the remaining survivours out to safety.

Myanmar:

The Burmese government, Junta had refused the suggestion of a large scale tsunami style rescue operation to be carried out by foreign forces. However, Britain's Asia minister, Mark Malloch-Brown said a framework was being set up for a U.N. and Asian-led operation that could solve the impasse.

Malloch-Brown said the United Nations estimates that so far help has reached less than 25 percent of the people in need.

France has accused the junta of being on the verge of a crime against humanity, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has condemned the generals' sluggish response as "inhuman", and there has been talk of bringing in aid without Myanmar's permission.

The French and U.S. navies have ships equipped with aid and helicopters hovering off Myanmar's waters in the Bay of Bengal, but Paris and Washington say they will not start any aid flights from the vessels until they get a green light from the generals.

The generals say they have the situation under control. In addition to their own efforts and some aid teams from friendly countries, they have allowed flights to bring help to Yangon airport, with the junta controlling distribution from there.

But just a few days ago men, women and children stood for miles alongside the road near the delta town of Kunyangon, begging in the mud and rain for scraps of food or clothing from the occasional passing aid vehicle.

Coz I felt like it

Therefore the change of layout!

Lack of time so simple was the key..

Had a damn good 8 hours of sleep. Nice.. Had been awhile since I've had a full 8 hours of sleep..

Had been pretty cranky for the past few days.. Probably had offended a few people in the process, one way or another, my apologies..

Just feel like chilling out, doing nothing.. I think I can afford that.. Hahahah.

Half the time I've got no idea what I want, that half the time happens to be these few days.. Though I know thinking about a certain matter now is just a waste of time and that I should just wait for the results, but it CAN really be pretty annoying.. Worked hard for it, hoped so hard for it, but why am I having second thoughts?! Dilemma dilemma..

Sigh!

------------------------------------------------------------------------

My bloody Ipod is making hellotta noise while loading and the earphone jack is pretty much dead..

I want a new MP3 player!! Creative will be the brand! Because I prefer value for money and sound quality over brand name..

Damn, Low yat.. low yat.. Anyone got money to spare? Heheh..

Thursday, April 24, 2008

?

Ever had this feeling where you a choice of two, one obviously much sought after but have dilemmas after working hard for it?

Am in a waiting phase for something, but have no idea if I would really like the results be it good or bad.

Pros and Cons of both sides. With one backup plan that have no guarantee at all.

Hmmm... Funny feeling this is..

Shall see how it is after a week then.

On another note! Spring is here! with the constant rain and Sunshine as bright as Malaysia's It is definitely here! A huge transformation from the April snows.. Like Hock said, fleshy Summer! (its still spring ain't it? Summer? Heh?)

Rice cooker

This is random.

But had anyone stared at the water boiler/rice cooker while its doing its job? Standing there as if staring at it tho knowing it would not help at all? Funny how you know some things can not be helped but still we couldn't just leave it alone ain't it?

Funny how the brain functions..

On another note! I broke my glasses in Espana in the showers.. The frame somewhat turned soft and bent.. Don't ask why, I've got no idea too.. Lucky I've brought a pair of spare contact lenses over from Malaysia. Had been alternating it with my shades though the Sheffield weather is damn bloody gloomy and cloudy. Hence the looking like an idiot for the past few days. Used Bluetag to fix it. Didn't work too well.

Tried super glue today! Hope it doesn't blind me..

By the way people! I'm back! will be updating as soon as I get the time.. Currently trying to catch up with too many things.. Urgh.. University life. Welcome, welcome..

Had I forgotten something?

Woke up today, read the Girlfriend's blog about One Life. Its an AIDS campaign that helps you realise the suffering of HIV victims. She had wrote all about it and her experience in the "tunnel of experience"(So I named it). SO, anyone out there, go and have a look. HERE.

To be honest, I did forgot something. I've looked too much into my CV. Too much into trying to secure a job. The hectic schedule trying to balance the society, academic studies, social life, girlfriend, and everything else had made me forgotten the joy of seeing another person in need smiling, as you lend them a hand. Show them how much you care. Show that little bit of effort. Lend a hand..

Thanks to the Girlfriend, I've just realised that my mind had been diverted so much into trying to lay the pathway of my career. I've gotten selfish, political, hard headed. Sometimes, fake. Something I've not picture myself to be at all last time.

Have you realised how many times you've heard of world vision but never took the initiative to visit their sites? I know the last time I did was in secondary school due to LEO club.

Do a charity today people. Volunteer, make a donation, and trust me, seeing someone appreciating your help, knowing you've lent a hand in a situation that requires it is a joy beyond the world. :)

PS: Sorry bout the lack of time to blog, but this. Maybe not a thing for me to procrastinate..
