This 85 year old man born in 11th of January 1923 from Texas goes by the name of Carroll Shelby. A racer, a team manager, a visionary and the creator of the legendary Shelby Cobra.
The winner of the 1959 Le Mans alongside teammate Roy Salvadori. Having forced to give up this racing career due to heart problems in 1960, Carroll Shelby had turned his attention into designing. His vision of creating a lightweight race car using the European Chassis and an American V8 had created the Shelby Cobra and the Shelby Mustang later on with Ford.
